Ever since Tom Brady left the AFC East, the division has been dominated by the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills. But now, a new rival has risen after the New York Jets acquired Aaron Rodgers in the 2023 off-season. Rodgers’ arrival in New York makes AFC East one of the toughest divisions in the league right now, but the ESPN personality Dan Orlovsky believes they both have a shot at winning the Super Bowl.
“The Bills and the Jets are unquestioned Super Bowl contenders,” said Orlovsky during his recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. “The quarterback talent that they have, the skill talent that they have, the defense that both have.”
Furthermore, Orlovsky also said that the Dolphins are on the verge of being contenders, but it’s a matter of their QB Tua Tagovailoa staying healthy for a full season. “I think the Dolphins are knocking on that door. The question that everyone talks about is we gotta have Tua [Tagovailoa] healthy for the year. As much as I love Tua, it hasn’t happened,” said Dan Orlovsky.
The Bills are indeed a loaded squad and have been competing for the Super Bowl in the last few years. However, their QB Josh Allen is having a rough time in the off-season, which could end up affecting his performance on the field. Allen recently broke up with his girlfriend Brittany Williams after allegedly cheating on her.
Moreover, he is also having issues with his best friend and teammate Stefon Diggs, who’s reportedly keen on leaving Buffalo. Nonetheless, the Pro Bowl QB claims to be fully focused on football and will look to lead his team to another playoff season in 2023.
On the other hand, the Aaron Rodgers-led NY Jets are certainly contending for the championship title in the upcoming season. The veteran QB has a solid supporting cast and will look to add another Lombardi Trophy to the Jets’ trophy cabinet.

Josh Allen is having issues with Bills WR Stefon Diggs
Despite signing a 4-year contract extension in the last off-season, the Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been constantly hinting at leaving Josh Allen and the Buffalo-based football team.
According to ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III speculations, the Bills QB has some personal issues with Diggs that they need to work out soon if they want to be a Super Bowl contender in the upcoming season.
If Stefon Diggs left the Bills, it would be tough for them to find a replacement for him in the upcoming season. So, Allen really needs to work out whatever issue they have soon for the sake of the Bills’ championship chances.
