Notus, ID (CBS2) — Four people were killed when a train collided with their vehicle in Canyon County.
Idaho State Police (ISP) said the crash occurred just before 8:30 a.m.on a private road near milepost 17 near US20 in Canyon County on Saturday, April 13 when a Chevrolet Silverado occupied by a 38-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman, and two kids from Nampa, failed to yield and entered the railroad crossing when they were struck by an oncoming train.
All occupants of the Silverado died from their injuries at the scene. The woman was wearing her seatbelt.
ISP and the Canyon County Coroner are working to notify the next of kin.
