One of his fans has now posed him a question he should consider answering. The poster read: “Hey Marnus! How do I pronounce your last name? The video on cricket.com.au didn’t help!”

Marnus Labuschagne to bat at 3 in Rawalpindi Test

The Pakistani team started well in the Rawalpindi Test, scoring 476 for the loss of four wickets before declaring on Day 2. Azhar Ali and Imam-ul-Haq both scored a massive hundred, while Babar Azam added to the excitement. Australia could only play one over on Day 2 as bad light stopped play. The Aussies have made a strong start on Day 3 and are currently positioned at 222 for the loss of two wickets at Tea Break.

Pakistan got both openers out in a decent session. Sajid Khan broke the opening partnership of 156 runs by getting Warner’s wicket, who was clean bowled, and Usman Khawaja missed his century by three runs as he attempted a reverse sweep and was caught by the short leg. Khawaja’s wicket was taken by Nauman Ali, which blocked his path to a well-deserved century. Marnus Labuschagne has had a good start, and he will be hoping to build upon this with a big score. As well as he stands Steve Smith, who also looks determined to make the most of Rawalpindi’s excellent batting conditions. Australia scored 84 runs after lunch, and they will be looking to reduce the deficit further during the final session.
