The Charlotte Hornets’ star player and first time All-Star LaMelo ball who has always been known for rocking peculiar outfits and his liking of the neon green colour made headlines and created a buzz again with his fit in the Hornets’ match against the Chicago Bulls when he entered the Spectrum Arena for the match.
What most of the people called “hideous” is something sort of regular fashion for the last season’s ROTY, who has always fancied wearing “different” kind of clothing in comparison to his NBA peers.
Ball showed up in an outfit which most of the people wouldn’t ever imagine him in. Though not involving a lot many layers, the outfit looked seemingly weird, not only for a pregame outfit, but for any occasion.

In their match against the Chicago Bulls, the Hornets’ star player LaMelo Balled pulled up to the Spectrum Arena in something anyone wouldn’t have expected. LaMelo pulled up wearing a Neon Green Supreme Ski Mask, looking nothing less than a GTA or a Fortnite character embodied in a basketball player.
LaMelo Ball has always had a weird sense of fashion and his specific liking towards the neon green colour which is something he prefers while choosing his outfits or cars, which include the Lamborghini Urus.
Despite the seemingly “terrible” choice of outfit, Ball had a spectacular performance against the Chicago Bulls even though they fell short in their quest to win the match.

Ball scored 33 points, 5 assists and 9 rebounds in the 38 minutes that he played even after which the Hornets couldn’t win.

The Charlotte Hornets fell short in their quest to win against the in-form Chicago Bulls being led by DeMar DeRozan.
LaMelo Ball led the way for the Hornets in their effort to win the match by scoring 33 points, 5 assists and 9 rebounds followed by Miles Bridges who scored 22 points and Kelly Oubre Jr. who scored 19 points for the Hornets.
The Bulls were led by DeMar DeRozan who scored 36 points, 4 assists and 5 rebounds, followed by Zach LaVine who scored 27 points and Nikola Vucevic who scored 18 points as the Bulls took an easy victory against their counterpart, the Hornets.
DeMar DeRozan played his fourth straight 30+ point points game as he averaged 37.5 points in this duration.
DeRozan said, “I’m just trying to finish this thing off going into the (All-Star) break. I understand how critical these games are. It’s a big opportunity for us to take advantage of these last few games. That’s been my mindset.”
The Bulls have had a great season, having a 34-21 record as they stand at the 3rd position in the Eastern Conference right behind Milwaukee Bucks.
After this defeat, the Hornets have further worsened their record to 28-28 as they stand at the 9th position in the Eastern Conference. Despite LaMelo Ball’s masterful performances, the Hornets haven’t really been able to feed off of his form and the team have struggled lately, having lost 8 of their last 10 matches, which definitely isn’t the position they would want themselves to be in, and it will be interesting to see how the Hornets are able to change their fate and turn the tide around for themselves.
